WIZZ AIR SUMMER SCHEDULE FOR LITHUANIA IS ALREADY ON SALE
Vilnius, 27 October 2016 – Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced that its summer schedule for Lithuania is already on sale. The recently launched newest WIZZ routes connect Lithuania with sunny Bari in Italy and Nice in France, while from 31 October the airline will start operating another low-fare services to the magical Reykjavik in Iceland and from 18 September, 2017 to the capital of Poland, Warsaw.
Besides the new routes, WIZZ continues to operate its existing popular services from all its three Lithuanian airports, Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga providing customers with low-fare access to such exciting destinations as London Luton, Barcelona, Kutaisi, Larnaca and Tel Aviv. Wizz Air now offers 32 routes to 15 countries from Lithuania.
Wizz Air kindly reminds its customers that, due to runway reconstruction at Vilnius International Airport, starting from 14 July until 17 August 2017 (inclusive), all of Wizz Air’s Vilnius flights will be operated to and from Kaunas Airport. From 18 August onwards, WIZZ will resume its Vilnius operations. Seats on Wizz Air’s low fare Lithuanian flights can be booked on wizzair.com.
Wizz Air is now the leading airline at Vilnius International Airport and has four aircraft and 150 employees based in the Lithuanian capital. In 2015, WIZZ carried nearly one million passengers on its low fare Vilnius routes, supporting over 700* local jobs.
