Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline today (17th June) announced their sixth route from Kaunas. The new route is to Birmingham and will start on the 26th of October and the route will be trafficked two times a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.

The new route will mean an additional 30 000 passengers through Kaunas. To celebrate this new route Ryanair is selling tickets on the route from 72 LTL*.
Birmingham is the UK’s second largest city famous for it’s shopping and two football teams Birmingham City FC (The Blues) and Aston Villa FC. The city is as well famous for being the centre of the British canal system and has more kilometres of canals than even Venice. Visitors seeking a Willy Wonka experience can visit the Cadbury chocolate factory that offers guided tours and tasting.

Announcing the expansion today, Ryanair’s Manager Northern Europe; Wilhelm Hamilton said:
