Send season’s greetings to your family and friends from Lithuanian airports
Lithuanian airports encourage those who travel during the holiday season to share their cosy moments with their loved ones in all corners of the world and invite to send holiday greetings to them free of charge. All you need to do is to write down your greetings on a special postcard at Vilnius, Kaunas or Palanga airport and cast it into a post box.
“The passenger traffic at Lithuanian airports does not reduce during the holiday season - some are going for holidays abroad, others come back to Lithuania for Christmas and New Year celebration. We wish that they all have an opportunity to surprise their family or friends by a hand-written postcard and send their “last minute” greetings to those whom they might not be able to greet in person,” said Indrė Baltrušaitienė, Head of Communications and Marketing at Lithuanian Airports.
A Christmas postcard from Lithuanian airports features the image of street art created on the old water tower in the area of Vilnius Airport this year. The moon created by artist Antanas Dubra is decorated with holiday elements and a greeting to carry your dreams further than the Moon.
Free postcards will be available to all passengers at Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga airports until 27 December. You will find special post boxes beyond security screening check-points in all three airports.
