RYANAIR ANNOUNCES NEW ROUTE FROM KAUNAS TO LONDON LUTON
Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline today (5th June) announced a new route from Kaunas to London Luton. From Tuesday the 28th of October 2008 Ryanair will operate the route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Ryanair estimates that they will carry 40.000 passengers on the route per annum.
Announcing the new route today, Ryanair’s Manager Northern Europe; Wilhelm Hamilton said:
“We are very pleased to announce continued growth in Kaunas at the same time as the only thing our competitors announce is fuel surcharges, something that will drive even more passengers to Ryanair’s low fares. For 60 litas* you can now choose between two different London airports and up to three daily flights between Lithuania and London.”
