Ryanair Celebrates 8 Years and 5,555,555 Passengers in Lithuania

Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra-low cost carrier (ULCC), today (27 September) celebrated a double milestone in Lithuania. It has been eight years since Ryanair started its operations in Lithuania with the Kaunas-London Stansted route and in these eight years Ryanair has now carried 5,555,555 Lithuanian passengers.
Ryanair currently operates 34 routes in Lithuania, 19 in Kaunas and 15 in Vilnius, and expects to carry over 1.3 million passengers this year while sustaining 1,300 tourism jobs* in the region and underlying Ryanair’s commitment to tourism in Lithuania.

These “all in” low fares will be available for travel on midweek flights in October and November on over 1,000 of Ryanair’s European routes, including the routes from Kaunas to Stockholm Skavsta and from Vilnius to Dusseldorf Weeze and Oslo Rygge.
