RYANAIR ANNOUNCES NEW ROUTE FROM KAUNAS TO SHANNON

Ryanair, Europe’s No. 1 airline today (31st May) announced one additional route from Kaunas. The new route is to Shannon and will start on the 9th November the route will be trafficked twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The new route will mean an additional 30 000 passengers through Kaunas bringing the total number of Ryanair passengers to 370 000. To celebrate this new route Ryanair have slashed 80 LTL off all return flights. The new route to Shannon will sell from 62 litas.

Announcing the expansion today, Ryanair’s Manager Northern Europe; Wilhelm Hamilton said:
"It feels great to announce a new route to Kaunas and especially for a low price as 62 LTL. The Shannon region is a great place to go for a quick getaway with beautiful scenery and some of the best pubs in Ireland. So don’t miss out experiencing the craic* of Ireland."

The General Director of Kaunas Airport said:
"The increasing number of flights, flow of passengers and cargo confirms that we are going the right way – the implemented infrastructure development projects make the airport even more attractive to carriers and passengers."
