Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra-low cost airline, today (18TH December) announced its second new route for summer 2013 schedule for its Kaunas base. As an early Christmas gift to all Lithuanians Ryanair announced that it will start a route from Kaunas to Trapani in Sicily; the route will commence on the 1st of April 2013 and will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Ryanair’s Baltic Sales & Marketing Executive Elina Hakkarainen said:

From 1st of April onwards, Lithuanians will have the possibility to visit the beautiful island of Sicily by flying Ryanair’s direct low fares route from Kaunas to Trapani. “To celebrate this new low fares route from Kaunas, Ryanair is launching a sale of 100,000 seats at fares from just 28LTL for travel across its European network on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in January.
