Ryanair, Europe’s only ultra low cost airline, today (23rd January) announced that it will bring back the route from Kaunas to Oslo Rygge. The route will re-commence on the 1st of May 2013 and will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In November 2012 the route was moved to operate from Vilnius but Ryanair has now confirmed that the Oslo Rygge route will operate from both Kaunas and Vilnius during summer season 2013.
Ryanair’s Nordics and Baltic Sales & Marketing Executive Elina Hakkarainen said:
“Ryanair is delighted to bring back the Oslo Rygge route to our Kaunas base. In total Ryanair will operate 18 low fares routes from Kaunas airport during summer 2013. The new route to Oslo Rygge will go on sale on www.ryanair.com tomorrow 24th of January.”
“To celebrate the comeback of Oslo Rygge route Ryanair released 100,000 seats, across its European network, at prices starting from just 55 LTL for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in February and March. These “all in” low fares will be available on over 1,000 of Ryanair’s European routes, including the route from Kaunas to Frankfurt Hahn. But these sale seats must be booked on www.ryanair.com before midnight (24:00hrs) Thursday 24th January.”
