Ireland budget carrier Ryanair confirmed that they would narrow their flight map from Kaunas by moving 5 routes to Vilnius from 7th of November, 2012. During winter season of 2012 Kaunas airport would operate flights to Bristol, Dublin, Frankfurt (Hanh) and London (Stansted). On the 31th of July, 2012 Kaunas airport General Manager Arijandas Sliupas resigned from his duties, Commercial Manager Jurate Baltrusaityte temporarily became General Manager at Interim.
Summer season routes map still offers flights to Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Rode, Kos, Cyprus, Malta, Reykjavik, Frankfurt Hahn, Oslo, Tampere, Edinburg, Stockholm, London (Stansted, Gatwick, Luton), Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Birmingham, Brussels, Bristol, and Dublin. Flights to Brussels (Charleroi), Leeds (Bradford), Liverpool, London (Luton) and Oslo (Rygge) are moved to Vilnius from November, 2012.
