No need to call for a taxi in advance or ask friends for help – Kaunas Airport approved taxi cabs are cheap, convenient and comfortable.

Kaunas Airport approved taxi rank can be found just in front of the arrivals terminal. All taxi cabs accept cash and credit cards. Always ask for a printed receipt at the end of the trip!

* Taxi carriers carrying passengers from Kaunas Airport taxi rank must apply not higher rates than the following:

1 km daytime trip, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.	1.20 EUR
1 km nighttime trip, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.	1.50 EUR
1 km at weekends and on public holidays	1.50 EUR
1 km outside the city	1.60 EUR
Initial fare	1.40 EUR
1 min. of downtime while waiting for passengers or on traffic jam	0.30 EUR

If you paid more than it is set by the rate limits, please send us a scanned copy of the receipt by contact us form. If taxi carrier did not provide you with a printed receipt, please send us the following information:

• Taxi carrier provided, handwritten receipt (scanned version is suitable as well);
• Time of departure and the address of travel destination;
• Picture of taxi license plate numbers;
• Your e-mail address.

If we will investigate that you have overpaid, we will compensate your loss!
