43.3 thousand passengers travelled through Lithuanian Airports in November (77 thousand in October). As usual, the largest share of passengers flew via Vilnius Airport (32.5 thousand), and 7.6 thousand passengers were served at Kaunas Airport in November (17.4 thousand in October). Last month, Palanga Airport served 3.1 thousand (in October it was 6.6 thousand).

At the end of the autumn season, the number of flights decreased. While 2 256 flights were recorded in October, in November that number was only 1542 across the three airports.

The total number of seats offered by airlines has halved from 210.3 thousand in October to 109.6 thousand. In September, all three airports jointly offered 68 routes, in October that number was 59, and in November it decreased even more, just to 47.

However, for now the situation is slightly more positive in the area of freight transportation. The figures for November this year are 1.59 percent better than in the same period last year, as this November 1 601 tons of cargo were transported at all Lithuanian Airports.
