Lithuanian Airports was recognized at the 2024 National Responsible Business Awards (NAVA) for its efforts to enhance corruption prevention and promote various anti-corruption awareness initiatives. Often referred to as the "Oscar" of social responsibility, this award underscores the strategic importance of corporate social responsibility within the company’s operations.

This year, the NAVA awards, which have been held for over a decade, introduced a new category: "Company Promoting Transparency and Corruption Prevention." The selection committee acknowledged Lithuanian Airports for its achievements and progress in this area.

"2024 was a year of growth for Lithuanian Airports, with around 130 new colleagues joining our team. I firmly believe that our transparency and corruption prevention policies attract significant attention from employees and are essential criteria when choosing an employer. It is very important for us to foster a strong, value-driven organizational culture. I am proud that we are the first company to receive this new award, recognizing our consistent and dedicated work in promoting transparency and preventing corruption," said Simonas Bartkus, CEO of Lithuanian Airports, while accepting the award.

A total of 16 companies from across Lithuania were honored during the awards. Participants competed in categories for small, medium, and large enterprises. The NAVA jury received 94 applications from Lithuanian companies.

Companies submitting applications were evaluated in six categories for their 2024 social responsibility initiatives. The winners were announced during a formal ceremony and included: "Workplace of the Year," "Most Community-Friendly Company," "Environmentally Friendly Company," "Company Ensuring Safety and Emotional Well-Being," "Diversity-Promoting Workplace," "Company Promoting Transparency and Corruption Prevention," and "Socially Responsible Company of the Year."
